This range of plastic cased commercial wall clocks offers a selection to satisfies most customers needs, with a wide choice of styles, sizes and movement type. The clocks have been designed primarily for use in offices and cover diameters from 215 to 500mm, with a choice of case colour, dial type and movement. All of these clocks have shatterproof front lens. All of these clocks can be fitted with battery quartz movements and with the exception of the 255mm Thermometer clock and the 500mm diameter clock, with battery radio controlled movements. With any device that is reliant upon radio signal reception, there may be areas in a building that will not receive an adequate signal for reliable operation. Therefore, if a number of radio controlled clocks is being planned for a building, we recommend that a sample clock be experimented with in order to ensure that they are suitable for the intended location. It is important to note that reception of the radio controlled time signal is severely restricted by metal clad buildings. Further, in areas where there are many computer screens or where there is heavy duty electrical equipment or cabling, the interference from these is likely to affect signal reception. In such areas or in buildings such as modern warehouses that are fully metal clad, we recommend a battery quartz clock.
